The Power of Community

Women Creatives Meetup in Durham Region

January 28th at The Berry Hill Food Company in Oshawa. Creative women got together to share our stories and exchange our artistry with one another! I was honoured to receive an invite to display my art and speak about my creative process. What a great evening!

My original piece titled: The Sister Code (above) was featured at the event.

Mothers Healing Through Art – January 19th, 2019

The power of art and art making was part of my experience with the organization Mommy Monitor on January 19th at The Centre for Social Innovation. I facilitated an Expressive Art Therapy workshop with new moms. Here is an article written by the MC for the evening, Bee Quammie that talks about the event and her personal experience.
